3. What are your top academic/professional achievements?

Completing the business administration program at Western University prepared me for the everyday business world in Toronto. Now, pursuing a role in commercial banking by completing additional courses.

4. What are your favourite basketball memories/experiences?

Travelling with AAU teams in the spring and summer created some of my favourite memories. Spending time with my teammates while also playing in front of countless Division 1 coaches was an experience I will never forget.

5. What is your favourite memory from your time with Troyka?

My favourite memories with Trojka were the OBA tournaments we attended when we were kids. It was some of our first experiences travelling with a team and having our families watch us play against teams from all over Ontario. Additionally, the house league games we played on Saturdays before the formation of the rep team were something I looked forward to every week.

6. How has Troyka contributed to your success?

My success can be directly related to my time with Trojka because of the relationships I’ve built as a player there. I am still in close contact with some of my childhood teammates and those are bonds I will maintain for as long as I can.

7. What do you think are the most important areas for young athletes to focus on?

The most important thing for young athletes to put their focus towards is to work on all aspects of their game. Thankfully, coaches at Trojka will help you develop as a complete basketball player, as opposed to being stuck in one position as some teams around the city often do.

8. Any final thoughts you’d like to share with the next generations of Troyka athletes?

Enjoy every moment that you spend in training. It will all be worth it, whether or not you decide to pursue your sport. The relationships that you build in practice with your coaches and teammates are going to stick with you for a long time. Don’t think of it as a chore, rather as something you get to do!
