Finishing up my Grad year at Northeastern University

– 1st team all OSBA in high school
– 2x Biosteel All Canadian
– Team Canada U16 and U17
– Captain for the Harvard Men’s Basketball team
– Captain for the Northeastern Men’s Basketball team
3. What are your top academic/professional achievements?
– BA in Economics at Harvard University
– Master’s in international management at Northeastern University
– Finishing my MBA at Northeastern next year
4. What are your favourite basketball memories/experiences?
– Representing Canada on the World Stage
– Winning the Biosteel All Canadian 3pt shootout my junior year of high school
– Playing vs. Kansas at Allen Fieldhouse in front of 15,000+ people
– First College buzzer beater against Colgate during my Junior year at Harvard
5. What is your favourite memory from your time with Troyka?
My favorite memory is probably the 2009 U10 Chatham provincials.
6. How has Troyka contributed to your success?
Playing for Troyka was where I first fell in love with the game of basketball. It still is some of the most fun years I’ve ever had on the court. I still have friends from Troyka that I talk to and have relationships with today and that is honestly the most special thing that I have received from being a part of the program.
7. What do you think are the most important areas for young athletes to focus on?
– Developing the fundamentals of the game
– Building strong habits (work ethic, discipline, routines)
– Staying grounded and humble with any success you may experience
8. Any final thoughts you’d like to share with the next generations of Troyka athletes?
– Find something you love to do and give it your all every day
– Always look to give before you receive
– Be grateful and appreciative for what you have in life
